OBJECTIVES

• To carry out the preservation, and scientific inventory of all the cultural, historical, and natural heritages, which includes the languages, oral literatures, traditional fine arts, handcrafts, customs, etc., of the administration?
• To ensure the establishment and development of cultural institutions like museums, theatres, cultural centers, galleries, libraries, archives, etc.
• To conduct scientific research on the cultural and historical heritages, traditional fine arts, handicrafts, languages, oral literatures, and the other cultural elements in order to make them useful to the cultural development endeavors of the administration.
• To undertake the conservation, protection, and control of the historical, cultural, and natural heritage sites.
• To ensure that the right of property law to creative work is properly observed, and to render material and moral support to creative artists and professionals as an encouragement.
